K Lockrow jewelry is crafted by hand in sunny Los Angeles, California.
Amanda spends her days piercing, hammering, forming, soldering, and
setting to create the unique pieces that make up her current
collections. Her goal is to add a little more beauty to our fragile
world through her art, while protecting it by choosing to incorporate
eco-friendly practices. Growing up playing on the beaches of Maine and
snowboarding in the mountains made an indelible impression on me. The
pristine beauty of our earth calls out for it to be appreciated,
respected, and protected.
Amanda received a BFA in metalsmithing
from Syracuse University in 2004 and moved out to the west coast after
graduating. Living in LA enables her to enjoy both the beach and
mountains; both environments influence her work.
